2018 was an amazing year, and already this year so much has happened. We’re saying farewell to one person, while welcoming two more. We’ve started some new projects, and are wrapping up others we’ve been involved with for some time.
We want to share some of our highlights with you, and thank you for involving us in your surveying, engineering and planning projects.
Our Changing Team
Sadly, we’ve said goodbye to Joe as he’s setting off on a new adventure with his family to the North Island. However, we’re excited to welcome Willem and Rita to our team.
Originally from Queenstown, Willem is a graduate surveyor. Rita is an experienced Licensed Surveyor, and moved to Christchurch to help with the rebuild. Welcome!
Habitat for Humanity
At the end of last year, we were proud to send Joe to Fiji with Habitat for Humanity.
Joe worked for a week with members from Buildtech Group to build a hurricane-proof home for a double amputee and the children she cares for.
It’s such a privilege to be able to give to people in our local, and global communities.
Housing New Zealand
From Fiji to Rangiora, where we’ve been involved in the subdivision and construction of a new Housing New Zealand development.
Nine older houses were demolished, making way for 28 modern units dedicated for the elderly. We’ve been part of this exciting project from start to finish, and we’re looking forward to people moving in later this year.
Coast to Coast
As if he wasn’t busy enough, Mark has also been training for the Coast to Coast endurance event. He kayaked, cycled, and ran the 243km track, finishing on New Brighton Beach last weekend on February 9th.
Congratulations Mark, and we look forward to hearing more once you’ve had a chance to recover.
